Dua Lipa, an English artist and singer was born in London on the 22nd of August 1995. The singer-songwriter signed to Warner Bros Records in 2014 after she was a model and dropped her debut album, self-titled in 2017. This album reached number 3 in the U.K. Charts, and also released 8 singles. They included Be the One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. Number One single New Rules as well as the U.K. No. One track New Rules. The album, which is now been certified Platinum in various countries across the world has won two Brit Awards (in the year 2018) in the categories of British female single artist as well as British Breakthrough act. Dua Lipa was conceived in London by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). Her parents are of Bosnian heritage via her maternal grandmother. It is also possible to trace her ancestral roots through Peja from Kosovo. Her grandparents were historians as well. Lipa is the younger sister of Rina Lipa, and has one younger brother, named Gjin. Lipa's father, the musician and lead singer from the Kosovan band Oda, influenced her musically.
