In the year 2015, at age 19, she released her debut single, Here. The single garnered a lot of attention and was well-liked both by critics and listeners. The single peaked at 19th on both the Canadian Hot 100 as well as the Billboard Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone ranked the song as one of 2015's Top Songs. In the same year, she released her debut album Know It All, the track Scars to Your Beautiful ranked in the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. The track was also one of the five original songs. An album label, EP Entertainment, noticed her and allowed her write songs.
