Coleman is a Lancashire native. She attended Arnold School in Blackpool. She was a headgirl and earned straight A grades for her A-Levels. As she discussed her Emmerdale character, Coleman expressed regret for not attending a university. In 2009, she received nominated in the two categories: Best Actress-Sexiest Female and Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman got the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March press conference on the show that Coleman will be Matt Smith's companion following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat chose her due to the ease with which she worked alongside Smith, and that she was faster at speaking than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Elle has been in the film industry since 1987. She was more popular on TV. Eva has played a variety of TV characters, however the roles of Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children' and Detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami have stood out. The role that she first appeared on television earned two Daytime Emmy nominations, and helped her develop her passion for music. In addition to being an actor, Eva is a philanthropist and an entrepreneur. Three times married, she has a daughter who is and a second husband.
