Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child was born into a family in South London. Her father and mother were both English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14 years old. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was earned. She performed in various performances on stage during her college days, such as the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started acting in Storm Damage. Over the past few years Madekwe's appearance in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe played the lead role for How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedic comedy made in the year 2008. The credits she has in her theatre work are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport in ABC's show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just 2 weeks at The CW and then it ended. In February of 2011 she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe was in the episodes of the series' first two seasons as an regular. However, in May of 2013, it was announced that news broke that Madekwe will leave the show after her appearance as a guest on the opening episode for its third season. Madekwe starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem from 2014 to the year 2016. Madekwe got married to her long-time lover, Iddo. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty and four older brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's family, which is all athletic, played baseball during the summer and played hockey during winter. Ashley did not walk, but she did dance, so when she was two and a half she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley became a dancer immediately. When she was in High School, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe as well as acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical and hip hop. The important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which have awarded her the title "top Soloist".
