Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a playback vocalist also known as an actress, musician and playback singer. She works primarily as an actor and a music composer for Tamil as well as Malayalam-language movies. Annayum, Rasoolum marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. Her debut was in Tamil in the film with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. She has one younger sister who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as an assistant to research. Jeremiah has a family close to Chennai She went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. She's said she was a huge geek and was a psychiatrist after passing the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea started playing the piano classically when she was eight. Young Stars, a Jackson Five group that she joined at the age of 10, formed her base for musical and vocal. While at school, she was performing as a theatre artist. She was also in numerous stage productions organised by The Madras Players. She was also president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her theatre career by appearing in Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she was part of the leo coffee commercial with Shiva. Also, she was in the series which was broadcast on Podhigai. She has performed all over India. She played a minor role on the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). She sang in a song to Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. She was asked to join the female lead characters as part of Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed. The film features Andrea as Kalyani a homemaker whose husband has an affair with her which leads to her being targeted by a blackmailer. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani in the wake of Simran Shobana, Tabu as well as other actors were offered the chance to audition for the role. It was first released in early in the 2010. In the beginning of 2010, she was cast in a minor role in Venkat's Mankatha that was released in 2011. The film was a film that featured several actors. Annayum Rasoolum which is a romance film directed by Rajeeev Ravi, which was released in 2013, was the actress's Malayalam debut.
